Cole Pirwitz

Law Clerk

Cole Pirwitz is a Law Clerk with Kohl and Cook Law Firm, LLC. Cole received his J.D. in 2024 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, graduating as a Public Service Fellow with the Dean’s Highest Honors. Prior to Moritz, Cole graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies and was a member of the Varsity Football Team.

Cole has deep roots locally, having grown up in Columbus and returned to the city for law school. During law school, Cole externed with Judge Daniel R. Hawkins in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas and interned with the Ohio Division of Securities. In the summers, Cole interned as a Law Clerk with the United State Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, Civil Division. Additionally, Cole spent two years as a research assistant for Professor Dakota Rudesill and participated in Ohio State’s National Security Simulation.

Cole is excited to be able to work in his hometown and help the people of Central Ohio.
