Bree O’Neal
Law Clerk
Bree O’Neal is a Law Clerk with Kohl and Cook Law Firm, LLC. She received her J.D. in 2024 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Bree is a double Buckeye who graduated with degrees in Philosophy and African American Studies and minor in Legal Foundations of Society from The Ohio State University.
Prior to law school, Bree worked as a secretary at the City of Lima Tax Department and as a customer experience ambassador at BarkBox. By doing so, Bree learned the importance of listening to and advocating for local community members and consumers. During her summers in law school, she gained invaluable experience working as a law clerk at Ohio State Student Legal Services and at Lardiere, McNair, DiNicola & Stonebrook. Bree also received honors for her participation in the Criminal Prosecution Clinic and externed at Cardinal Health during her third year of law school. In addition, Bree was Student Publications Editor for the Ohio State Technology Law Journal.
Currently, Bree is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and Women Lawyers of Franklin County.
