Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected online by Kohl & Cook Law Firm LLC, its subsidiaries, or affiliates (collectively, “Kohl & Cook ” or “we” or “us” or “our”) through its websites, microsites, or mobile sites that expressly adopt, display or link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”).

This Privacy Policy answers the following questions:

1. What information does Kohl & Cook collect about you on our Sites?

Information You Provide: Our Sites may include features that allow you to provide personal information to us, such as contacting us or submitting inquiries to us, signing up for our blogs, registering for an event, or choosing to receive Kohl & Cook  information or other communications. We may ask you to provide information about yourself directly to our Sites to utilize these features, such as your name, company/organization, email address, mailing address, and telephone number. If you choose to provide personal information through the Sites, you will also be subject to our Disclaimer.

Information Observed or Collected Through Technology:

Navigational Information: We and our third-party service providers may collect navigational information when you use our Sites. For example, we may collect IP addresses, operating system information, domain type, browser version, the Internet service provider used to access our Sites, use of links to arrive at our Sites and the IP address from which you arrived, web pages requested and viewed on our Sites, and time spent on our Sites; and, for our mobile websites, we and our third-party service providers may collect technical information about the device used. We may also use pixel tags (also known as web beacons, web bugs, and clear GIFs) on the Sites and in emails. A pixel tag is a nearly invisible pixel-sized graphic image on a webpage or in an email message.

We and our third-party service providers use cookies, pixel tags and similar technology to collect information about things like: your interactions with our Sites and with our advertisements; the times you visit our Sites; confirmation when you open email from us, including the time you open the email and whether you click on any links in the email; and the sites you visit after visiting one of our Sites. 2. How do we use the information we collect about you?

4. Does Kohl & Cook share your information with third parties?

Your information may be shared among Kohl & Cook, its subsidiaries and its affiliates who are responsible for providing services to you so that they may communicate with you directly.

Our Sites are directed at adults and we do not knowingly collect information provided by children under the age of 13.

9. Where is personal information stored and processed?

This Privacy Policy governs the information collected through the Sites irrespective of where you are located, for example, when you access, browse or interact with the Sites. We share store and process personal information in the United States of America, which means your personal information may be stored outside of the province, state, and/or country in which you reside.

10. Will this Privacy Policy change?

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time to take into account new or changing circumstances, so please review it periodically. If we make a material change to our information collection, use or disclosure practices specified in this Privacy Policy, it will be applied only to information collected on a going forward basis.
